Cheap airfare from Chicago-Singapore?

Does anyone travel from Chicago to Singapore and/or know any good cheap websites that offer good deals. My grandmother is turning 92 and we want to surprise her for her birthday. I've googled a bunch of websites and nothing is coming up that is close to $1000 which is around what I want to pay. If you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks.
