Does it snow in L.A?

I used to live in L.A., and yes, it does snow in the Angeles Crest Mountains. That's normal. However, it doesn't usually snow in Los Angeles itself, but has on a few rare ocions in it's history. My parents saw it happen once when they were quite young, and I've heard of maybe one, or two other ocions. Extremely rare.
