Do you need the work authorization doents if you have a green card?

Your Green Card is also a work authorization card. You will see small letters that say "Valid for employment authorization" or something like that. So, when you get it, go straight to the Soc. Sec. office and apply for a number. Your Soc. Sec. card will come in about 7 days. Then you can start working.
