Does this series converge or diverge?

I learned that the sum to infinity of 1 / n^k converges only if k > 1. So for this example, k = 1 / 2, and the fact that we have 2n + 5 instead of n is of little importance. The series will diverge, I have not used direct comparison to obtain this result.
