Have to buy a new router?

So it turns out i have an issue with my router that is causing a major headache. So gona replace it. Right now i have the Linksys N draft (about four years old) the first N technology from them. It was awesome!!! No complaints. Except for Linksys customer service which is a bunch of script reading no knowledge waste of time. So does anyone have any suggestions. I know Linksys is dependable and they have a new E series out.
