Isn't it silly to try to prove or disprove religion?

Yes, it is pointless to try and disprove religion. It is unfalsifiable (which is the reason it's illogical, but I digress). It's not pointless, however, to argue with religious bigots who want to impose their backwards morals on the rest of us. I don't do it to change their minds, that can't be done, I do it in hopes that by showing how foolish they are I can dissuade others from joining in their idiocy.
