I believe that a marriage needs to be based on unconditional love. But I agree with the point that my wife and I are fused, because we can come to each other and discuss issues that are causing problems for us in our marriage and work them out and resolve them, rather than let these issues tear us apart. I believe for a marriage to thrive your love for your spouse MUST be unconditional.
