Should i get my 5 month er spaniel castrated?

Fear has absolutely nothing to do with him being neutered or not, however it sounds like he does have an eyesight problem. This walking behind you gives it away, if he has only limited sight, it makes sense that he wants to walk right behind you, this way he can follow you without taking any misstep.This has nothing to do with fear.
