Questions about A Clockwork Orange........?

at the end, when it shows him listening to Beethoven in the hopsital and he is picturing having with this chick, and he says "I've been cured alright" that doesn't mean he was lying about freaking out when listening to Beethoven before, right? he was just picturing that because he had these "dreams" that the doctors messed around in his brain...so they made him think like that? I'm just making sure I have it correct, haha
